Two Cents for Change:

We are asking that everyone in Newburyport donate 2 cents a day to the Two Cents for Change Campaign. Two cents a day is $7.30 per year which doesn't seem like much but the combined 2 cents of everyone in Newburyport would total $125,000! This money could fund programs which are currently not available to lift people out of poverty. We will be placing 2 Cent jars around town and a downloadable label will be available on our website www.povertyprogram.com/2cents4change for you to have your own 2 Cent jar at home. Can we afford not to give our two cents?

Two Cans for Change:

Two Cans for Change is a program to restock the food pantries in the area. We ask that the local religious organizations collect nonperishable for the Two Cans for Change on the first Sunday of each month.

Two Hours for Change:

We are asking that everyone volunteer two hours a month to an organization of their choice. Two Hours for Change will have a Volunteer Job Fair in the fall to bring together organizations and individuals and a Volunteer Vacation Fair in the spring.
